2. Principles of data processing
The protection of your personal data matters to us. This website has been deliberately designed to keep data to a minimum:
- Cookies and analytics services are used only with your express consent (see Section 8). Without consent, the site remains cookie-free.
- Fonts are hosted locally on our server. No connections to external font or CDN services are established.
- Requests submitted through our initial consultation form are processed exclusively on our own server in Germany; no third-party providers are involved.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers located in Germany. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider as part of the hosting arrangement.
4. Server log files
When you visit this website, the server automatically processes technical access data (so-called server log files): IP address, date and time of access, requested file, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is used solely to ensure trouble-free operation, to analyze errors, and to defend against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not merged with other data sources or evaluated for marketing purposes. The log files are automatically deleted after 14 days at the latest.
5. Initial consultation form
If you request an initial consultation through our form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, phone number, and your details regarding your plans, time horizon, investment range, connection to Morocco, and referral source) in order to review and handle your request and to contact you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures taken at your request) and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is stored exclusively on our server in Germany and is not passed on to third parties. It is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
6. Newsletter and Fact Report
On our website you can subscribe to our newsletter and receive our “Morocco Fact Report” as a PDF in return. This link is stated transparently before you sign up: the free report is provided in return for your newsletter subscription. For this purpose we process your email address and, as proof of your consent, the time of subscription and confirmation as well as the IP address used.
Subscription follows the so-called double opt-in procedure: you first receive a confirmation email; only once you click the link it contains does the subscription take effect and the report become available. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 7(2) no. 3 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG)). The subscription data is stored exclusively on our own server in Germany. Emails are sent via our mailbox hosted by Strato AG, Berlin (servers located in Germany); no specialized newsletter service provider is involved.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with effect for the future, using the unsubscribe link in every email or informally by writing to info@solvio-forms.de. Your address will then be removed from the mailing list. As proof of your consent or unsubscription, we retain the subscription and unsubscription data (email address, timestamps, IP address) for up to three years (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); after that, it is deleted. Unconfirmed subscriptions are removed automatically once the confirmation link expires (7 days).
7. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide (email address, content of your message) in order to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Google Analytics (only with consent)
If you give your consent via our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to evaluate how the website is used (e.g. pages visited, time spent, approximate location). IP addresses are processed in truncated form. The sole legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG)). Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no cookies are set.
In this process, data may be transferred to Google servers in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is retained by Google for a maximum of 14 months. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of the website and choosing “Decline”. Further information is available in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
9. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.
10. Your rights
With regard to the personal data concerning you, you have the following rights vis-à-vis the controller:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
